The width of the mounting bolt spacing is as wide as 46 mm, ensuring the best transmission of control forces. The skier's stability is improved by lowering the centre of gravity and the shorter length minimises stiffening of the ski. They are recommended for skis over 88mm wide. Their design allows the ski to go up to the starting point of the descent, similar to touring bindings.
