The POC Vitrea ski goggle is a model ideal not only for skiing, but also for mountaineering. Thanks to its oversized frame, it extends down over the cheeks for extra protection and shielding.
The goggles are equipped with high-quality PC/CP double glazing with excellent anti-fog properties and high scratch resistance. The large lens provides optimum peripheral vision, allowing you to see and react to potential hazards on the slopes earlier.
The lenses have been created in collaboration with the Carl Zeiss brand, known for its excellent quality optical products. Category 2 Clarity Highly Intense Partly Sunny Blue lenses in blue, which provide a solar transmittance of 22%, perfectly suited to riding in a variety of light conditions, making them highly versatile.
The Clarity Highly Intense lens features even higher contrast compared to Clarity Intense, providing excellent perceptibility of detail. The shallower angle of this toric lens, combined with the enlarged frame, provides exceptional vision in the lower part of the lens.
The lens has full UVA and UVB protection, and the Ri-Pel™ coating protects it from dirt, water, sweat, dust and oils.
The soft nylon and TPU frame provides strength and flexibility, and the triple layer of soft sponge provides a comfortable fit to the face. A silicone finish on the inside of the strap prevents the goggles from slipping.
One of the biggest advantages of this model is the double-locking quick release and hinge mechanism on the frame, which allows the lenses to be changed without removing the goggles and while wearing gloves.
