OAKLEY MOD7 premium all-in-one ski helmet.
The helmet was made in the hybrid construction Duramatter Mix Shell utilises a mix of durable hard shell and traditional lightweight polycarbonate over an EPS foam insert. The helmet is also equipped with a patented Skull Matrix provides better protection for the head and brain in the event of impacts from all directions and a comfortable fit.
The helmet is equipped with a patented MIPS system which, working together with internal rotating inserts, minimises the force of impact during a fall or crash.
Padded with a warm Polartec material with adjustable ventilation holes BOA® Fit System on the back provides easy adjustment of the helmet’s curcuit
Patented Secure-Connect seamlessly integrates the optics and the helmet as a single unit, providing a completely new experience by magnetically and mechanically connecting the visor to the helmet. An adjustment button is built into the side of the helmet to adjust the distance of the visor from the wearer's face. Lens Landing Zone on the front of the helmet allows the viewfinder to be removed and attached above the eye line without the need for keeping it in a case, backpack or a jacket. The helmet is equipped with Prizm™ Rose Gold Iridium lens that is characterized by 3rd filter category and light transmitted on the level of 13%. Oakley HDO® technology allows you to see even the smallest details without distorting the image, unlike ordinary lenses, whose operation might have a bad influence on the health of the eyes, thanks to which everything can be seen exactly where it is, image shift or distortion of the distance simply do not exist. The lenses will improve visual acuity and minimise distortion, while offering high quality optics suitable for sports. Prizm™ Rose Gold Iridium visor is designed for a sunny or slightly cloudy weather on a ski slope.
The set includes Prizm™ Clear lens that is characterized by 0 category filter and 80% light transmittance, ideal for very cloudy days. The visor is also equipped with a OTG function which allows you to ski without having to take off your corrective glasses, as they fit under the visor without any problems.
Compact magnetic clampFidLock® is intuitive, does not squeeze and can be operated with one hand, even when wearing gloves. This reliable, convenient and safe system provides both protection and the ability to unbuckle the helmet in the blink of an eye.
