Visiting cities and jogging at the same time can be a great adventure that will let you discover known places again. It’s like reading an alternative guide! You get the control over the city, sightsee and discover the most intimate secrets hidden from other tourists.

London weather doesn’t encourage to work out, however Londoners who practice jogging admit that bad aura isn’t an obstacle for them. Running is one of the most popular sports discipline in the capital of Great Britain, so you can expect a lot of companions on London paths! Plan your tourist run along River Thames and visit the most representative places e.g. Westminster Palace, Big Ben, Tate Modern, London Eye and Globe Theatre. If you want to relax surrounded by nature, turn to Hyde Park. Feel like seeing a skyline of London? Visit Hampstead Heath where you can admire spectacular views, obviously if the weather is fine!

Tip: London parks are just perfect for jogging, especially in the morning when they’re not packed with numerous groups of tourists and the fans of team games!

Amsterdam

Beware of rushing cyclists in Holland! They ride 2 million kilometres a day! Casual atmosphere of Amsterdam aids jogging across numerous bridges without using the map. You can feast your eyes on beautiful views and feel the unique atmosphere of charming channels and parks. Plan a short trip from the city center to Zuideramste district and run surrounded by nature. Breathe in fresh air! You have four spacious places to choose. We recommend Amstelpark with many attractions, Rembrandt’s fauvorite place, and Amsterdamse Bos forest with an impressive number of running routes.

Tip: Morning is the best time for jogging in Amsterdam as most of the people are at work or school.


Paris

Paris

As most tourist places, Paris is the most runner friendly in the morning. It’s full of beautiful green spots that are perfect for working out. Visit Jardin du Luxembourg, Monceau or famous Jardin des Tuileries which will be appreciated by sociable joggers. If you prefer running in solitude, go to various city stadiums, Bois de Vincennes or Bois de Boulogne forests. Do you wish to combine pleasure with utility and see incredible monuments of Paris at the time of jogging? Tag them in your application.

Tip: If you’re not scared of challenges, go to Montmarte district and admire impressive Sacre Coeur!

Berlin

Berlin

Well organized Berlin is very convenient for runners. During one jog we can see the most beautiful monuments and admire numerous green spots that are well-tended and site-specific. If you want to see something in a short period of time, we recommend Triergarten – green lungs of Berlin. Start by Brandenburg Gate and run towards Parliament (Reichstag) and the Chancellor’s Residence (Bundeskanzleramt). Continue jogging towards House of the Cultures of the World. If you want to experience more history, go the park in Charlottenburg, to see more nature, run along Landwehrkanal which is a perfect place to relax in sunny days.

Tip: Berlin routes aren’t very demanding, it’s a perfect choice for beginners!

Rome

Stone-paved streets are just perfect for feasting until small hours, drinking delicious wine and tasting Italian food. Running is not on the to-do list in Italy. That’s a huge mistake! Rome is an ideal place for jogging in a beautiful surrounding. If you feel like running in the center of the city, choose a route along the Tiber. A labyrinth of tiny streets and alleyways can be tempting but they’re better options for walking not working out. For jogging choose remarkable Villa Ada with Borghese gardens and the biggest one; Villa Doria Pamphili where you can admire fountains and panoramic view of the city. If you wish to see antique monuments, run through Parco della Caffarella and Parco degli Acquedotti.

Tip: Summer in Rome is very hot, for running choose spring and autumn.
