The Deacon 72 Master, with rocker on the tip and tail, takes the skier to a whole new dimension in terms of direct gliding behavior and ultra-fast tip response. An ash core (usually reserved for World Cup skis), Titanium two-layer construction with 3D.Glass technology and a Tailored Carbon Tip were designed by the Völkl engineers. Tailored Carbon Tip offers extremely direct and reliable tip response. The carbon fibers are positioned differently in each model and oriented at specific angles, so that each ski length is precisely tailored to the needs of ultra-sporty and aggressive skiing, without compromising flexibility. Volkl - Deacon line

The Volkl Deacon ski is a fairly new ski line that dates back to the 2018/19 season, when, after receiving brilliant feedback after testing, it was released for the first time. The Deacon skis feature all the technologies that the Volkl Racetiger has, but differ in waist, making the Deacons a more versatile ski.

WC ASH WOODCORE

One technical solution that has a huge impact on the skis' downhill behavior is a high-quality core made of solid ash, extending the entire length of the ski. This extremely flexible, hard wood, which until now has only been used in the production of competition skis for World Cup events, acts as an energy accumulator: when the skis are bent on entering a turn, the fibers stretch and absorb stress forces. Then, when exiting a turn, the stored energy is released in a controlled manner, giving the skis extraordinary dynamism. The unique stretching properties of ash also make the ski perfectly adaptable to the ground. This ensures maximum stability and reliability, resulting in an exceptionally smooth ride.

Tip&Tail Rocker

The rocker camber occurs only in the tip area and the back of the ski, with traditional camber under the binding. This allows the skis to perform better in powder snow and to transition better from edge to edge.

Tailored Carbon Tips

New carbon beaks that are perfectly tailored to the user's needs - that's right, Tailored Carbon Tips - are created during an innovative manufacturing process whereby individual carbon fibers are placed on a support material. The use of fibers of a specific thickness and their placement with millimeter precision allows you to perfectly adjust the stiffness, twist and thus the properties of the skis. The fibers ensure that dynamic forces are brought to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The Tailored Carbon Tips used in the ski, which are visible from the outside, are lightweight, allow smooth bow reactions with less effort, and quickly store energy. Thus, the tailored carbon prows set new standards for precision, direct response and the enjoyment of active downhill skiing.

Volkl 3D.GLASS

3D.GLASS is Volkl engineers' idea of stiffening skis for the allmountain category. Conditions on the ski slopes vary, often very challenging. The answer to this challenge is to reinforce the skis with a three-dimensional layer of fiberglass along the entire length and width of the board - including over the edges.

Polyethylene Slide Base P-Tex 4504

Sintered polyethylene mass with very high density in addition to high abrasion resistance and excellent wax absorption, P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast.
