The DOLOMITE 54 LOW FG GTX is a versatile trekking shoe that combines the aesthetics of the iconic 54 model with the latest technologies used in mountain footwear.
They are designed for mountain hiking in easy terrain and hiking in the broadest sense. They will also prove ideal for a weekend trip out of town as well as an active backpacking holiday.
The high level of protection against water is due to the Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort membrane used in these boots. Thanks to this, your feet will always remain dry and protected from the cold on rainy days. The breathable membrane also wicks moisture away from the inside of the boot. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimum thermal comfort.
The front part of the shoes is protected by a special rubber boot. Its purpose is to protect the toes from impact with the elements of the terrain and from accidental wetness on contact with moisture.
An essential element of the boot is the DAS Light system developed by the Dolomite brand. It consists of an anatomically shaped inner insole that provides a comfortable fit, reduces fatigue and takes care to preserve the natural biomechanics of the foot.
The Vibram® Ice Trek 2 sole used on this model guarantees high grip and stability on uneven ground. Its medium hardness will be suitable for most hikes in both mountain and forest terrain.
