Dolomite has more than 100 years of experience in the production of high quality boots and outdoor clothes. The brand has its roots in the south-east part of Italian Dolomites. Dolomite shoe factory was set up in 1897 when a barely 17 year old Giuseppe Garbuio opened Fabbrica Scarpe Montello store. In 1954 the Italian expedition attempted to reach K2 in Himalayas – one of the most dangerous mountains peaks of the world. They climbers were equipped with Dolomite boots. Experience and unique knowledge gained during the expeditions contributed to manufacturing exquisite Dolomite collections.

GORE-TEX® - is a very light and thin membrane placed between the outer material and the lining. Dolomite’s comfortable trekking boots - men’s and women’s, made with GORE-TEX® are waterproof, yet still breathable. Gore-tex fabrics protect the body from rain and wind and allow water vapour (sweat) to transfer efficiently from the body. This is possible because there are 1.4 billion microscopic pores per cm2 of membrane. These are approximately 700 times larger than water vapour molecules, so that moisture does not collect on the surface of the skin, but is evaporated through the membrane.
VIBRAM ARCTIC GRIP® is the latest technology used in winter footwear soles and the most advanced system developed by VIBRAM® for winter conditions. It guarantees even better grip than before on ice surfaces - especially wet ones. The main role in this technology is played by rubber without metal additives.
VIBRAM® VI-LITE is a lightweight cushioning layer that ensures optimum pressure distribution in the sole. It has better cushioning properties than standard EVA foam. This technology is used in soles of different design and purpose. It provides the optimum balance between lightness and durability - ideal for both short outings on the town and longer distances on walks.
Dolomite Anatomic System Light (DAS Light) is an exclusive system developed by the Dolomite brand. It consists of an anatomical insole that provides comfort and a perfect fit, but also makes walking easier and reduces fatigue. It also improves posture and provides greater stability and balance.
Primaloft Insulation Eco –an insulating material that provides thermal comfort and water resistance. The breathable, lightweight, durable fabric is made from 90% recycled material.
