The Dolomite Crodarossa Leather High GTX is a high trekking boot designed for hiking in technical terrain, easy climbs and via ferrata routes.
The upper of this model is made of suede leather sourced from LWG-certified tanneries. The front part of the boots is protected by a special rubber boot. It is designed to protect the toes from impact with terrain elements and from accidental wetting when in contact with moisture.
The high level of protection against water is due to the three-layer Gore-Tex® membrane used in these boots. This ensures that on rainy days your feet will always remain dry and protected from the cold. The breathable (vapour-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from the inside of the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimal thermal comfort.
An essential component of the boots is the Dolomite brand's DAS system. It consists of an anatomically shaped inner insole, providing a comfortable fit that reduces fatigue and takes care to preserve the natural biomechanics of the foot.
The midsole is designed to guarantee a 360° fit to the wearer's foot, providing comfort and stability on any terrain. The heel area is constructed with soft EVA foam, guaranteeing excellent cushioning and impact protection. The forefoot, on the other hand, is stiffer and includes a toe climbing zone, ensuring precision and supporting the wearer's weight on small rock ledges and cracks without kinking.
The Vibram® XS Trek outsole used in this model is built with a pronounced heel and underfoot tabs and has increased abrasion resistance. At the same time, it guarantees high grip and excellent cushioning.
