Kenja 88 with its revised geometry is the best solution for piste, powder, moguls and groomed carving. This all-mountain freerideris suitable for riders who wish to experience sporty performance. The impressive carving performance comes from three different radii in the waist, also known as 3D Radius Sidecut Design. Depending on speed and edge use, a different part of the ski manages a particular turn, terrain and forces. Rocker in the tip and tail makes each turn smoother when the slope is covered with deep powder or choppy old snow. The center radius is one meter shorter and allows the ski to be controlled with noticeably less effort. With the Kenja 88 underfoot, you can achieve everything the mountains have to offer.
For optimal ski tuning for all lengths from 149 to 170 cm, this season's Kenja 88 features Tailored Carbon Tips and a Tailored Titanal Frame. What does this mean? The skis are equipped with the new version of the Tailored Titanal Frame, which is used in many skis in the Titanal Freeride line. In this design, the width of the Titanal upper belt can be adapted to the length of the ski; the resulting torsional stiffness and the desired damping behaviour can be adapted to the skier. The titanal content is reduced for shorter skis, so even smaller or lighter skiers can get the most out of their skis with little effort. Tailored Carbon Tips make the skis versatile. Carbon fibers applied using the Tailored Fibre Placement (TFP for short) process allow for optimal control of turning. The thickness and alignment of the fibres define the force you need to apply and the energy that builds up where it’s needed. Agile shovel reaction is a feature of special note. This means that immediately after initiating a turn, the ski can be guided around the turn in a controlled and easy manner. It can be said that all you have to do is think of turning and you're done. In addition, the construction of the skis allows for low weight without sacrificing stability.
The Kenja 88 with Tip & Tail Rocker uses a proven multi-layer wood core that is combined with a continuous sidewall and P-Tex 2100 base.

Multilayer Woodcore

Tip&Tail Rocker

The rocker camber occurs only in the tip area and the back of the ski, with traditional camber under the binding. This allows the skis to perform better in powder snow and to transition better from edge to edge.

Tailored Carbon Tips

New carbon beaks that are perfectly tailored to the user's needs - that's right, Tailored Carbon Tips - are created during an innovative manufacturing process whereby individual carbon fibers are placed on a support material. The use of fibers of a specific thickness and their placement with millimeter precision allows you to perfectly adjust the stiffness, twist and thus the properties of the skis. The fibers ensure that dynamic forces are brought to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The Tailored Carbon Tips used in the ski, which are visible from the outside, are lightweight, allow smooth bow reactions with less effort, and quickly store energy. Thus, the tailored carbon prows set new standards for precision, direct response and the enjoyment of active downhill skiing.
