The Rise Above 88 W is the first choice for demanding female climbers for whom ascents and descents are equally important. The most versatile ski in the Rise line, it is light enough for fast ascents yet stable enough to handle any downhill conditions, whether on ice, wind or powder.
His multi-layer wood core is lightweight and provides an impressive combination of minimal weight (1186 g at 170 cm) and stability. The 3D Radius Sidecut waist is particularly suited to constantly changing alpine conditions such as narrow transitions and high speeds. The narrower waist underfoot and moderate profiling in the tip and heel areas minimise skiing effort.
The Rise Above 88 W est also features Völkl's Smart Skin Clip system, which is compatible with both Fibre Tech and Smart Glue seals.
The ski comes with Marker Alpinist 8 90 mm bindings, which need to be properly fitted at a ski service,
