If your main focus is on approaches but you are still looking for a ski with excellent downhill performance, the Rise Up 82 is the perfect choice.
For the first time, Völkl has used the 3D Radius Sidecut waist design derived from freeriding and all-mountain skis such as the Mantra and Peregrine in its skit skis. This construction combines three different turning radii, seamlessly linked together along the length of the ski. This means that the turn characteristics are adapted to the dominant waist radius depending on the edge angle. As a result, a smooth, high-speed ride and reliability is possible, even in difficult terrain.
The multi-layer wood core makes the ski incredibly lightweight, while still providing reliable downhill performance. The Full Sidewall provides stability and durability. The Rise Up 82 is of course equipped with the Smart Skin Clip system, which is compatible with both Tech Fibre and Smart Glue seals.
