The Rise Above 88 ski with 3D Radius Sidecut waist is the most versatile ski in Volkl's skiable range. They impress on both ascents and descents.
The multi-layer wood core provides an impressive combination of minimal weight (1186 g at 170 cm in length), stability and smoothness. The 3D Radius Sidecut waist guarantees a highly flexible bow, which is particularly useful when skiing in windy snow conditions.
The waist geometry ensures manoeuvrability and maneuverability in narrow aisles, while the Full Sidewall provides great stability and resistance. A combination of a narrower waist under the boot and moderate profiling in the tip and heel area, when skiing trips with a heavy pack.
The Rise Above 88 is also equipped with Völkl's Smart Skin Clip system, which is compatible with both Fibre Tech and Smart Glue seals.
The ski comes with Marker Alpinist 8 90 mm bindings, which need to be properly fitted at the ski shop,
