Beta AR women's membrane jacket is one of the most versatile pieces in the Arcteryx brand's collection. Perfect for a mountain trek, climbing or ski touring. Ensures protection from getting wet during rain.

The special feature of the jacket is its high resistance to damage. Thanks to the latest version of the GORE-TEX® Pro Most Rugged membrane, the three-layer laminate of the Beta AR model is highly resistant to abrasion and tears. The robust and abrasion-resistant N80d 3L Most Rugged fabric is used in the most tear-prone areas, while the lighter and more breathable N40d 3L Most Rugged is used in the rest.

The GORE-TEX® Pro membrane also provides absolute protection against all kinds of rain, snow and wind. Thanks to its microporous structure, it efficiently wicks away moisture that forms on the surface of the skin during exertion.

The StormHood™ hood can be adjusted quickly and easily, and has been sewn to accommodate a climbing helmet. Additional protection for the face and neck is provided by the high, built-in collar.

The location of the spacious front pockets prevents from interfering with the climbing harness. The hood and hem are adjustable thanks to Cohaesive™ technology, which works perfectly with winter gloves.

The jacket's great versatility is emphasised by the highly water-resistant WaterTight™ zips, an additional inner pocket and detachable underarm vents. This is complemented by the jacket's built-in RECCO headlamp, which will help rescuers find you in an avalanche in an emergency.
