Eastpak Canvas Products, Inc. was founded in 1952. The brand started its activity as the producer of backpacks for the American army. Fourteen years later, in 1976 the founder’s son set up a company called Eastpak. At that time the brand designed the first iconic model of teen’s backpack which is still popular. Since 1984 the company’s products have a 30 year warranty that proves their best quality and durability. Eastpak designs not only iconic backpacks. The brand is world famous for producing bags and suitcases. In 1999 it created the first soft bag on wheels.

In 2004 Eastpak started its collaboration with Walter Van Beirendonck; famous fashion designer. The success of the cooperation encouraged the founders of the brand to work with other fashion creators, style icons, and musicians. By now, the brand has collaborated with Raf Simnons, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo, The Prodigy, Ozzy or The Hive. In 2011 the brand opened Eastpak Artist Studio where the most creative artist meet and design exceptional and unique products of the brand. The income is used to benefit Designer Against Aids charity.
