Details and description

Haglöfs Spitz Down Hood is a technical down jacket designed for mountaineering and climbing, offering effective insulation and protection in wet conditions. Its hybrid construction, combining hydrophobic down with stretch fabric, ensures thermal comfort and freedom of movement in demanding terrain.

Key technologies and benefits:

H DOWN Platinum 800 CUIN – hydrophobic goose down retains its loft longer when exposed to moisture, maintaining effective insulation.
Seamless down-baffle construction – minimizes cold spots by distributing heat evenly.
Mimic SILVER – synthetic insulation enhances thermal comfort in specific zones.
Stretch fabric with PFC-free DWR finish – reduces moisture absorption and ensures freedom of movement.
Insulated, helmet-compatible hood – provides extra head protection without restricting mobility.
Two-way zipper, adjustable hem, and elastic cuffs – improve the fit and minimize heat loss.

Intended use: ideal for mountaineering and climbing where insulation, freedom of movement, and protection against wet conditions are essential.

Interesting fact: H DOWN Platinum down stays dry for up to 10,000 minutes of exposure to moisture.
