Kjus Men Lucas FRX Shell Pants are technical hardshell trousers created in collaboration with skier Lucas Swieykowski, designed for challenging alpine terrain. The lightweight, flexible construction with waterproof protection and efficient ventilation supports full freedom of movement during dynamic descents.

Key technologies and performance effects:

Waterproof double-layer construction - protects against heavy precipitation, maintaining an effective moisture barrier.
Breathability of 40,000 g/m²/24 h - allows sweat to quickly escape, preventing overheating during intense riding.
Thigh ventilation - adjustable vents allow temperature control during high exertion.
Fully taped seams - provides watertightness in areas most exposed to water.
DWR coating - reduces fabric soaking up wet snow.
Leg reinforcements - increase resistance to ski edge contact.
Elastic fabric with elastane - improves range of movement and body comfort.

Purpose and conditions of use: for demanding downhill skiing in variable conditions when breathability, lightness and full snow protection are key.

Interesting fact: co-designer Lucas Swieykowski tested prototypes in freeride terrain in Patagonia, which allowed him to refine the thigh ventilation functionality and precise cut in the working zones.
