Details and description

Haglöfs Vassi Mid Hood is a technical midlayer designed for freeriding, alpinism, and demanding mountain activities, offering thermal comfort, high breathability, and complete freedom of movement. The zonal construction using Polartec® materials ensures effective moisture wicking and adaptation to the intensity of effort.

Key technologies and user benefits:

Polartec® – technical knitted fabrics made from recycled polyester that provide thermal insulation, breathability, and quick drying during exertion.
Zonal material construction – increases flexibility and ventilation where they are most needed, enhancing movement comfort.
Fitted hood with elastic finish – fits well under a helmet, providing additional protection from the cold.
High chin guard made of soft fabric – increases thermal comfort and protects against wind.
Two side pockets and a large zippered chest pocket – allow for secure storage of essential items.
Elastic cuffs with thumbholes and adjustable hem – improve fit, keeping the sleeves in place during movement.

Intended use and conditions: suitable for freeriding, alpinism and other mountain activities where breathability, freedom of movement and effective temperature regulation are key.

Interesting fact: Polartec® materials have long been among the most valued technical outdoor knits, combining high durability with effective moisture management and comfort during intense effort.
