Details and description
The Descente Men's Removable Down Jacket combines synthetic insulation with removable down panels, allowing you to fine-tune the level of insulation to suit the conditions. The hybrid construction provides protection on cold days and, when the down panels are removed, acts as a lightweight, flexible layer for the warmer parts of the season.
Key technologies and performance features:
- Breathing System - promotes moisture wicking from the back of the jacket, stabilising thermal comfort during intense activity.
- Heat Navi - uses light energy to increase perceived warmth, improving insulation without increasing garment weight.
- Dermizax - provides 20,000 mm water resistance and 15,000 g/m²/24 h breathability, protecting against snow and moisture in variable conditions.
- Removable down panels - a minimum of 90% down guarantees high insulation, and the removable option allows regulation of thermals depending on the weather.
- 4way Stretch - stretch fabric increases freedom of movement when riding.
- Ventilation with two-way zip - makes it easy to quickly lower the temperature under the jacket during intense downhill runs.
- Lycra cuffs and wrist adjustment - improve fit and reduce snow ingress.
- Goggle pocket, ski pass pocket and snow belt - increase functionality in the field.
Purpose and conditions of use: the jacket will perform in variable weather from frosty days to warmer spring, enabling precise management of warmth and dry climate while skiing.
