Made in collaboration between Arc'teryx and Gore from the latest three-layer laminate GORE-TEX® PRO with Most Rugged technology - designed specifically for mountaineers, Himalayan climbers for activities in extremely difficult alpine conditions. The tough and abrasion-resistant N40d 3L Most Rugged face fabric has been used in the most tear- and wear-prone areas, and the lighter and more breathable GORE-TEX® with Hadron™ face fabric zones in the rest.

The GORE-TEX® Pro membrane also provides absolute protection against all kinds of rain, snow and gusts of wind. Thanks to its microporous structure, it efficiently wicks away moisture that forms on the surface of the skin during exertion.

The StormHood™ hood can be adjusted quickly and easily, and has been tailored to accommodate a climbing helmet. Additional protection for the face and neck is provided by the high, built-in collar.

The extremely spacious front pockets have been positioned so that they do not interfere with the climbing harness worn. They make it possible to stow away the most necessary small items. The hood and hem are adjustable thanks to Cohaesive™ technology, which works perfectly with winter gloves.

The jacket's great versatility is emphasised by the highly water-resistant WaterTight™ zips, an additional internal pocket and detachable underarm vents. This is complemented by the jacket's built-in RECCO reflector, which will help rescuers find you under an avalanche in an emergency.
