Features the latest version of MIPS® Integra technology. Patented system of silicone inserts prevents from the effects of accidents during which the head is hit at an angle (obliquely). In the event of an accident, the SPIN system allows the helmet to rotate relative to the head. The helmet is equipped with a built-in NFC Medical ID chip that gives paramedics access to your medical data at the scene of the accident. The RECCO system built into the helmet helps rescuers find you more easily. The NFC chip is easy to read by holding an NFC-enabled smartphone over the helmet to immediately give rescuers the information they need at the scene and support them in making the best treatment assessments in the crucial "golden hour" immediately after an accident
Thanks to the extensive structure of the occiput area, the KORTAL RACE MIPS offers greater protection to the back of the head than traditional mountain helmets. Massive ventilation holes provide perfect air circulation
KORTAL RACE MIPS is equipped with adjustable and removable visor which comes off the helmet safely at the time of an accident. Compatible with cycling goggles and glasses.
It can be also used with electric bicycles. It meets the Dutch standard NTA8776, which tests helmets at higher impact speeds than in the case of standard bicycle use.
