In short: Blaze 114 is as wide as its area of application and the smile on your face – very wide! In addition, this model is also produced in an environmentally friendly way. Völkl uses only FSC-certified recycled wood in combination with the new Green Core technology, in which the Isocore layer in the middle of the wooden core is made of recycled PET bottles instead of traditional PU foam. The Blaze 114 shines above all in terms of riding technique. Thanks to its effective weight-performance ratio, it can also be used as a freeride/touring ski. But it really develops speed on the downhill. The comparatively narrow turning circle of 18 metres with a ski length of 192 cm creates a previously unknown level of cornering pleasure in this category. This is further enhanced by the open turning circle at both the tip and the tail in combination with the Tip & Tail Rocker.
To enable a smooth ride at high speeds in addition to manoeuvrability, a 0.3 mm thick titanium sheet is integrated into the centre of the ski above the sidewall in the 3D Radius Sidecut. This allows for very precise control of the skis, which is particularly noticeable when initiating a turn. By the way, this also works well during occasional detours on the slope! However, in order to make the most of the advantages of All-Mountain Skis, titanium has deliberately not been used in the outer areas at the front and rear.
Blaze is designed in such a way that the flex thickness increases with the length of the ski, which means that taller or heavier skiers benefit from the same running properties as shorter or lighter skiers on shorter skis.

The skis do not include bindings and a plate.
