Details and description

Völkl Blaze W Junior versatile women's junior downhill skis designed for young recreational and advanced skiers who want to ski both on and off piste. The freeride construction combined with the Tip & Tail Rocker profile provides easy turn initiation, high manoeuvrability and stable handling in varied terrain.

Key technologies and performance effects:

Multilayer Woodcore - multi-layer wood core provides harmonious flex, stability and good control with increasing skill level.
Full Sidewall - full sidewall improves edge hold and steering precision on firmer ground.
Tip & Tail Rocker - cambered tip and heel zones make it easier to turn with low power and increase manoeuvrability in soft and rutted snow.
3D Radius Sidecut - varied turning radius allows you to safely combine shorter and longer arcs in varying conditions.
Fit for skins - ski tips adapted for mounting skins allow occasional use of the model in lightweight skiable activities.
Bindings - skis sold with Marker vMotion Jr 7.0 R bindings on a vMotion Jr plate, providing a secure and stable fit for younger female users.

Purpose and conditions of use: all-mountain and freeride skiing for girls, groomed pistes and off-piste terrain, including in broken snow and narrow runs.

Interesting fact: The Blaze W Junior is one of the first Völkl junior women's skis to use the 3D Radius Sidecut geometry known from the adult freeride models.
