The 72 mm waist makes the Peregrine perfect for anyone who likes to carve through every turn quickly and occasionally pick up some real pace.
Completely overhauled and designed in bright colours for this winter season, the Peregrine 72 is unmissable on the slopes. With its different geometry, widened tip and Tip and Tail Rocker profile, this powerful design will help you master every turn radius and, with its 72 mm waist, allow you to change edges even faster.
Long, medium or short turns - if you're after high performance, look no further. The ski's versatility is further enhanced by the specially developed Tailored Carbon Tips. The carbon fibres made using Völkl's exclusive TFP (Tailored Fibre Placement) method enable our engineers to influence the curvature characteristics very precisely. The strength and alignment of the fibres defines the force you need to apply and the energy that builds up where you need it. A special feature is the agile response of the bow. This means that as soon as you start a turn, the ski starts to steer in a measured and controlled way, depending on how the edges are used. This design has also enabled the ski to reduce weight without sacrificing stability. Finally, the TFP allows our designers to tailor each length to the requirements of specific target groups.
The entire Peregrine collection is made from 3D.Glass at the front and back, while the skis are built around the famous multi-layer poplar and beech wood core. Two full layers of titanium give the ski its proven strength. Riding the Peregrine 72 is also aided by the rMotion 3 12 GW binding.
For younger and lighter skiers, the Peregrine 72 is available in lengths under 160 cm - 158 cm to be precise.
