The Racetiger GS Master offers uncompromising performance and is the ideal choice for skiers looking for optimal dynamics. Equipped with the latest Völkl on-piste technology, this model meets all expectations and offers sports skiers extraordinary potential. Two main factors contribute to this result: the Tailored Carbon Tip and the solid ash core. The latter has so far been used exclusively in our WC series. Tailored Carbon Tips are manufactured using a complex sewing process in which carbon fibers are embedded in the fiber to adjust the twist in the shovel area. It results in a more direct and precise tip response than ever before, providing the skier with an unprecedented experience of energy accumulation from the first moments of turning. The generated energy is distributed along the entire length of the ski through a solid ash core and released at the end of a turn. This ultra-sporty design is complemented by a rocker in the tip, Titanal construction throughout, a full-length edge, 3D.Glass technology and Race P-Tex 4505 coating. With a edge width of 67 mm, a turning radius of 17.5 m and a length of 178 cm, as well as a competition WC plate, these skis combines the characteristics of a true competition ski with conventional tailoring.

WC ASH WOODCORE

One technical solution that has a huge impact on the ski's downhill behavior is a high-quality core made of solid ash, extending the entire length of the ski. This extremely flexible, hard wood, which until now has only been used in the production of competition skis for World Cup events, acts as an energy accumulator: when the skis are bent on entering a turn, the fibers stretch and absorb stress forces. Then, when exiting a turn, the stored energy is released in a controlled manner, giving the skis extraordinary dynamism. In addition, the unique tensile properties of ash make the ski perfectly adaptable to the ground. This ensures maximum stability and reliability, resulting in an exceptionally smooth ride.

Tip rocker

The structure of the ski is curved upward only in the bow zone, while the middle and back of the ski is straightened due to its own tension. This makes the skis more agile and better able to handle bumps.

Tailored Carbon Tips

New carbon beaks that are perfectly tailored to the user's needs - that's right, Tailored Carbon Tips - are created during an innovative manufacturing process whereby individual carbon fibers are placed on a support material. The use of fibers of a specific thickness and their placement with millimeter precision allows you to perfectly adjust the stiffness, twist and thus the properties of the skis. The fibers ensure that dynamic forces are brought to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The Tailored Carbon Tips used in the ski, which are visible from the outside, are lightweight, allow smooth bow reactions with less effort, and quickly store energy. Thus, the tailored carbon prows set new standards for precision, direct response and the enjoyment of active downhill skiing.

Volkl 3D.GLASS

3D.GLASS is Volkl engineers' idea of stiffening skis for the allmountain category. Conditions on the ski slopes vary, often very challenging. The answer to this challenge is to reinforce the skis with a three-dimensional layer of fiberglass along the entire length and width of the board - including over the edges.

Sintered polyethylene mass with very high density in addition to high abrasion resistance and excellent wax absorption, P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast.
