Thule was founded in the deep forests of Småland, Sweden - by Eric Thulin. Initially, the company manufactured car ski racks and luggage baskets. Gradually, the brand grew and with it the ambitions of the brand founder. After the introduction of surfboard carriers and bike carriers, it was time for backpacks. The first Thule Crossover Backpack was created in 2010. It featured appropriately designed pockets and openings that made it easy to access the essentials. The durable, spacious Thule backpack has gone down in brand history, and just 5 years after its creation, the Thule brand introduced a collection of technical backpacks. The Thule Trekking Backpack brings even more functionality to every adventurer.

Thule Test Center™
The Thule Test Center™ is located in Hillerstorp, Sweden. This is where Thule bags and backpacks are tested under extreme conditions. The products are not only subjected to high and low temperatures, but also to water exposure and falls from heights, but also tested to 25 standards that exceed ISO requirements. This is what creates durable, reliable products that you can use for many years. During testing, the Thule Crew plays a huge role. Its members are among the best athletes in their respective disciplines and test the quality of bags and backpacks under difficult conditions.
