In the early 30s the brand produced its first goggles. With each year UVEX range of products got wider and wider. Beside offering goggles, the brand also manufactures ski and bike helmets, glasses and protective gear. The word UVEX stands for Ultra Violet EXcluded, which is one of the most important features of the brand’s goggles and glasses. Since 1960 the brand is the embodiment of high quality and precision.
Factories in Lederdorn and Obernzell employ a team of professionals, who design, produce and test the brand"s products, Rigorous testing ensures best possible safety for the customer. In 2010 UVEX has been granted one of the most prestigious awards in the world: “Brand of the Century”. It made its position on the market even stronger and stable. A year later, the company was appreciated by Plus X Award jury which consisted of independent journalists and personalities from 25 various fields, they awarded UVEX with "The Most Innovative Brand of 2011 award. UVEX has proven to be one of the best companies in the industry by wining prestigious awards and numerous competitions.
