Details and description

Völkl Blaze 82 vMotion are lightweight all-mountain skis designed for ambitious beginners and intermediate skiers, intended for skiing on groomed slopes and mixed snow. A waist width of 82 mm and a design focused on short turns ensure high agility and easy control in various conditions.

Key technologies and user effects:

Multilayer Woodcore Light – a lightweight core with harder wood in the mounting area and lighter wood in other zones combines stability with low weight.
3D Radius Sidecut – three radii facilitate short turns and allow for smooth transitions into longer arcs.
Suspension Tips & Tails – flexible TPU inserts dampen vibrations in the tip and tail in variable snow conditions.
Full Sidewall / Mini Cap – supports direct power transfer and edge control.
Tip & Tail Rocker – rocker at the tip and tail with camber under the binding makes it easier to initiate turns and maneuver.
Bio Based Resin – resin incorporating bio-based raw materials.
Bindings – Marker vMotion 11 TCX D on vMotion 1 GW plate – DIN range 3–10, provides smooth energy transfer and full construction compatibility.

Intended use and conditions: all-mountain with an emphasis on groomed slopes, mixed snow, and moguls.

Interesting fact: Blaze 82 stands out for its very high agility in short turns, allowing for quick direction changes despite its 82 mm waist width.
