Details and description

Völkl Blaze 86 lightweight freeride skis for ambitious and advanced skiers, focused on quick turns and riding on mixed snow. The 86 mm width underfoot and the titanium-free construction enhance the agility, dynamics, and responsiveness of the ski.

Key technologies and user effects:

Multilayer Woodcore Light - a lightweight wooden core combines low weight with stability and dynamic performance.
3D Radius Sidecut - three radii support short turns and stable handling in longer arcs.
3D.GLASS - increases torsional stiffness, responsiveness, and edge grip.
Suspension Tips & Tails - TPU inserts dampen the vibrations of the tip and tail on uneven snow.
Flax Carbon Band - a combination of flax and carbon fiber improves damping and smooth handling.
Full Sidewall - ensures direct power transfer to the edges.
Tip & Tail Rocker - facilitates maneuvering in soft and variable snow.
Bio Based Resin - resin made with biological raw materials.
Bindings - Marker Squire 11 TCX D - DIN range 3–11, ensures smooth energy transfer and full structural compatibility.
