Details and description

Völkl Racetiger SC Yellow is a sport racing ski for ambitious and advanced skiers, focused on dynamic carving in short and medium turns. It combines quick edge changes and precise guidance with fluidity, allowing for sporty riding without the character typical of strictly competition skis.

Key technologies and user effects:

Tailored Carbon Tips – directionally arranged carbon fibers facilitate turn initiation and speed up the tip's response.
Multilayer Woodcore – a core made of beech and poplar provides stability and a springy, predictable ski performance.
Titanal Band – improves damping and stability without excessively increasing weight.
3D.GLASS – strengthens edge grip and dynamics when exiting a turn.
Full Sidewall / Mini Cap – combines precise power transfer with structural durability.
Tip Rocker – facilitates entry into the turn while maintaining reliable edge control.
Bindings – Marker vMotion 10 GW on vMotion 3 GW plate – DIN range 3–10, GripWalk compatibility, and smooth energy transfer.

Intended use and conditions: sporty carving on groomed and hard trails, primarily short and medium turns.

Interesting fact: the history of the Racetiger line dates back to 1970, when Völkl introduced the Renntiger model. Today's series develops the concept of sport skis for precise riding on groomed trails.
