Details and description

Völkl Racetiger SL sports slalom skis for ambitious and highly advanced skiers, focused on short, dynamic turns and quick edge changes. The construction provides strong grip on hard snow, immediate response, and high dynamics.

Key technologies and user effects:

Tailored Torsion Woodcore – varied torsional stiffness of the beech and poplar core facilitates turn initiation and increases control.
Tailored Carbon Tips – directional carbon fibers accelerate the tip's response.
Full Titanal – two layers of Titanal increase stability and dampen vibrations.
3D.GLASS – improves edge hold and dynamic exit from turns.
Full Sidewall ABS – ensures precise force transfer.
Tip Rocker – facilitates quick entry into a short turn.
Base P-Tex 4504 – fast, abrasion-resistant base.
Bindings – Marker rMotion-T 12 on the rMotion Toolless system – DIN range 4–12 and precise energy transfer.

Purpose and usage conditions: sporty riding on groomed and hard pistes, short cut turns, and quick edge changes.

Interesting fact: Racetiger SL continues the line initiated in 1970 with the Renntiger model.
