Details and description

Volkl Shine 78 with Marker Lowride 11 TCX bindings is a lightweight and dynamic all-mountain ski for ambitious skiers looking for versatility and comfort on groomed trails. The Tip & Tail Rocker profile supports easy turn initiation and predictability in variable conditions.

Key technologies and user effects:

Multilayer Woodcore – full wooden core improves stability at higher speeds and gives a more sporty character.
3D Radius Sidecut – varied turn radii increase agility in short turns and confidence in long arcs.
3D.GLASS – multilayer fiberglass improves edge grip and ski responsiveness.
Full Sidewall – direct power transfer and precise control on hard surfaces.
Base P-Tex 2100 – durable, easy-to-maintain base optimized for groomed trails.
Bindings – Marker Lowride 11 TCX with integrated iPT Lowride XL system – DIN range 3.0–11.0, low and wide construction increases agility and stability, while the TCX heel facilitates easy entry.

Intended use and conditions: all-mountain for intermediate and ambitious skiers, best for groomed and slightly variable trails, in the range of short and medium turns.

Interesting fact: The Shine 78 uses the same Lowride system found in wider models, providing an exceptionally low position and natural ski feel.
