Details and description

Völkl Shine SC is a sports ski for intermediate and advanced female skiers, focused primarily on agile carving and short turns. The construction with a Titanal strip ensures stability and smooth handling, while maintaining an easier-to-handle character than the more technical Shine SC Carbon.

Key technologies and user effects:

Woodcore Inlay – the wooden reinforcement supports stability and predictable ski performance.
Titanal Band – increases vibration damping and stability without excessive stiffening of the structure.
Full Sidewall / Mini Cap – ensures direct power transfer to the edges and increases durability.
Tip Rocker – the raised tip facilitates turn initiation and quick edge-to-edge transitions.
Base P-Tex 2100 – sintered, abrasion-resistant base with low friction.
Bindings – Marker vMotion 11 TCX Lady on vMotion 2 GW plate – DIN range 3–11, GripWalk compatibility, and TCX construction that facilitates easy entry.

Purpose and usage conditions: sporty carving on prepared slopes, primarily short and medium turns on hard and softer snow.

Interesting fact: Shine SC uses Zebra Structure, a base structure developed for narrower system skis, supporting quick turn initiation and controlled handling.
