Details and description

Haglöfs Spitz Down Hood is a technical down piece designed for alpine climbing and mountaineering, offering effective insulation and protection in damp conditions. The hybrid design with hydrophobic down and elastic fabric provides thermal comfort and freedom of movement in challenging terrain.

Key technologies and user benefits:

H DOWN Platinum 800 CUIN – hydrophobic goose down retains its loft longer in contact with moisture, maintaining effective insulation.
Seamless down chamber construction – reduces thermal bridges, evenly distributing heat.
Mimic SILVER – synthetic insulation supports thermal comfort in selected areas.
Elastic fabric with PFC-free DWR coating – limits moisture absorption and provides freedom of movement.
Insulated hood compatible with helmets – increases head protection without restricting mobility.
Two-way zipper, adjustable hem, and elastic cuffs – improve fit and reduce heat loss.

Intended use and conditions: suitable for alpine climbing and mountaineering when insulation, freedom of movement, and protection in damp conditions are essential.

Interesting fact: H DOWN Platinum down stays dry even after 10,000 minutes of exposure to moisture.
