The women's thermal longsleeve Icebreaker Mer 260 Vertex LS Crewe is a warm merino wool base layer for the coldest months of the year. The underwear is ideal for skiing, snowshoeing and other cold-weather activities.

Free from plastic microfibres and petrochemical-derived synthetic materials, this product is made from 100% pure merino fibres that have been hand-picked for strength and softness to create a luxurious fabric that is naturally breathable and itch-free. Merino wool fibre is naturally renewable, recyclable and biodegradable under certain conditions. Thanks to its natural bacteriostatic properties, the longsleeve is resistant to unpleasant odours.

The longsleeve provides the wearer with full mobility, comfort and protection against chafing thanks to the underarm inserts and flat seams. Additional support against chafing is provided by offset shoulder seams and side seams set back. The extended back provides additional protection against the wind.

The medium weight of the wool used (260 g/m²) provides adequate insulation and optimal breathability in winter, while the high waist and close-fitting cut make them adhere to the body like a second skin.
