The main task of the X-BIONIC APANI 4.0 TRANSMISSION LAYER MERINO sweatshirt as a second intermediate layer is to disperse moist air inside, preventing moisture from condensing and thus stabilising the cooling effect of the first layer. At the same time, it builds channels and spaces where warm air can collect and store. However, if the weather is warm, it keeps the insulating heat of the transmission layer away from the body.
This sweatshirt is dedicated to those who appreciate natural materials and their properties. Saxon merino wool, from which the jersey is made, helps to maintain the optimum body temperature (it cools or warms depending on the need) and is a quick-drying material, which, combined with the intelligent solutions known from X-Bionic products, creates underwear perfect for sports in cold temperatures. The sweatshirt features the patented 3D Bionic Sphere® system with ThermoSyphon® technology to optimise performance through improved cooling. The Sweat Traps® system under the armpits captures perspiration and promotes temperature balance through targeted evaporation. The waistband and sleeves of the sweatshirt finished with Aktiv-Bund tape and the functional IDEO-Waistband® cut keep the underwear in place, guaranteeing perfect hold without slippage. The Expansion Ribs® technology located at the elbows, which works on the accordion principle, ensures that this sensitive part of the body is fully insulated from the cold, even during strong flexion.
Through the use of DIFFUSER technology, warm wicking air rises to the collar.
