The function of the full-length unbuttoned X-BIONIC RACOON 4.0 TRANSMISSION LAYER as a second intermediate layer is to disperse damp air inside, preventing moisture from condensing and thus stabilising the cooling effect of the first layer. At the same time, it builds channels and spaces where warm air can collect and store. If the weather is warm, however, it keeps the insulating heat of the transmission layer away from the body.
The legendary patented 3D Bionic Sphere® system cools when you sweat and warms when it's cold. Sweat Traps® located under the armpits capture perspiration and promote temperature balance through targeted evaporation. The waistband and sleeves of the sweatshirt finished with Aktiv-Bund and the functional cut of the IDEO-Waistband® keep the underwear in place, guaranteeing a perfect hold without slipping.
Through the use of DIFFUSER technology, warm wicking air rises to the collar. Then, vertical channels in the diffuser design on the inside of the collar keep it away from the neck to form a chimney through which evaporated sweat can pass to the outside.
The sweatshirt copes perfectly with unpleasant odours thanks to SKIN NODOR® fibres, which prevent the proliferation of bacteria by releasing skin-neutral ions.
