The Arcteryx Aerios 18 is a lightweight and durable intelligently designed backpack for day hikes in the mountains.
It is made of ultra-light but very strong and highly durable 210D Hadron LCP fabric, which is resistant to abrasion by granite and gravel.
The heart of the backpack is the highly breathable AeroForm backpack panel and non-slip frame for increased carrying comfort. The breathable shoulder straps are equipped with 2 mesh pockets.
The zipped main compartment successfully holds the essentials for a day trip. It also includes a pocket that is compatible with a reservoir system. A small pocket located at the top of the backpack, also zipped, is used to safely store valuables.
On the sides are large pockets that can successfully hold maps, drinks or snacks. The backpack also has straps for attaching trekking poles and elastic strings at the back for storing, for example, a climbing helmet. The backpack also has an adjustable and detachable waist belt.
Additional protection against moisture soaking of the outer material is provided by impregnation with DWR coating, made without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbon compounds. As a result, the rucksack is bluesign® certified, which is a guarantee that it has been produced in a sustainable way without any major environmental impact.
