Deuter Trail 24 is a lightweight mountaineering backpack designed for mountain sports enthusiasts and via ferrata enthusiasts who appreciate a backpack that fits snugly against the body, yet breathes well. It is perfect for weekend trips.
At the heart of the backpack is an extremely lightweight and comfortable Airstripes carry system with a reduced contact area, whose mesh provides maximum airflow, which greatly enhances the user's performance. Movable, ergonomic, perforated shoulder straps with a soft finish, an adjustable and removable chest strap, load adjustment straps and an adjustable waist belt provide a customized fit for the user. The hip belt if not needed can be rolled up and tucked behind the back panel.
The backpack has a flexible frame Delrin® in a U-shape that evenly distributes its weight. Such a solution allows for a better fit of the backpack, a proper balance of weight and the transfer of some load to the hips.
The main compartment, fastened with drawstring straps, successfully accommodates the things necessary for a weekend trip. We can also access it from the front thanks to a wide opening with a zipper. This solution allows quick and easy access to the contents of the backpack. There is a pocket inside that is compatible with up to a 3-liter reservoir system.
Above the main compartment is a lid with two zippered pockets. The first outer one is an ideal place to store a first aid kit, hat or gloves, and the second inner one will hold a wallet, phone, keys and other valuables.
On one side there is an elastic pocket that can successfully hold maps, drinks or snacks. On the other side, the pocket is zippered and is perfect for holding gloves useful on chains. The backpack also has straps for attaching trekking poles, an ice-check, a whistle on the chest strap, attachment loops for a helmet holder and a retractable rain cover.
Loops on the suspenders keep carabiners from the via ferrata kit close at hand. This, combined with the compact, comfortable fit of the backpack, provides greater safety when climbing fixed rope routes.
The backpack is made of extremely strong yet lightweight materials that are entirely created from recycled materials and, most importantly, contain no environmentally harmful PFCs.
