Initially ski pants were made from heavy gabardine, and were taking a form of a chock. This fabric and cut were not comfortable enough for the skiers. That’s why Maria Bogner decided to revolutionize the ski fashion. In order to do that, she introduced pant leg ribbing. It was to first step to create new ski leggings, which today are considered iconic. 

Working with the best


In 1950 Bogner decided to cooperate with the Bianchini-Férier fashion house. This colaboration brought key innovations to the ski leggings. A new fabric known as "Fantastiss", was made. It was waterproof, but also stretchy and elastic, so that the pants could emphasize the feminine silhouette.

Love by the stars

Combination of a unique cut and functional fabric quickly made Bogner ski pants famous all around the world. In 1960, these ski pants were for the 1st. time officially referred to as “Bogners”. Since then everyone, from Hollywood stars to regular customers, who were looking for a combination of fashion and functionality, frequently visited stores to buy a brand new pair of elegant and sexy ski pants.
