The NORTHWAVE STORM CARBON 2 is a cycling shoe designed for road cycling. They will prove themselves excellently during cycling races and everyday training. They will be an ideal choice for cyclists focusing on high shoe stiffness, low weight and great comfort. The Morph Carbon 12AAS sole used in this model is characterised by its exceptionally high rigidity. Its midsole is equipped with a special carbon fibre insole with a stiffness index of 12 (out of 15 on the manufacturer's scale). The high stiffness of the sole guarantees maximum efficient power transfer to the pedals. At the same time, it does not cause excessive discomfort during very long training sessions.
On the inside, the shoe is equipped with a special Anatomical Arch Support® insole made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). This adapts to the individual shape of the foot's instep and provides the necessary support. Also responsible for the fit to the foot is the intuitive and convenient SLW3 fastening system additionally fastened with Velcro at the front of the shoe for a better hold. Equipped with a single knob, it is characterised by high reliability and allows for a very precise fit when putting on the shoes.
The NORTHWAVE STORM CARBON 2 model is compatible with Shimano SPD-SL road blocks and the NW Speedplay block adapter.
