The La Sportiva Cyclone Cross Gtx is a technical mountain running shoe with integrated waterproof protection and BOA® Fit System lacing. They are designed for off-road training and competitions in the winter months and are suitable for use with snowshoes.
The high degree of cushioning and flexibility is due to the EVA-INJECTED injected midsole. This solution is ideal for off-road use, as it reduces the crushing effect while maintaining increased resistance to bumps.
The La Sportiva Frixion White® sole with integrated shock-resistant rubber sole is the brand's proprietary solution. It is a super traction and abrasion-resistant type, ideal for high-performance mountain running shoes. The outsole also features the innovative Impact Brake System, which absorbs unpleasant impacts on the ground and improves grip, especially on downhill runs.
The outsoles used in these shoes are particularly suitable for races on soft and muddy ground thanks to the greater width of the shoe and the distance of the tabs forming the outsole.
Exclusive OrthoLite® Hybrid MR E insole made from 20% recycled materials. It is characterised by maximum wearing comfort thanks to ventilation and highly breathable PU foam cells. Thanks to this solution, the foot is always dry and kept at the ideal temperature. This high-performance type of insole is ideal for mountain running.
The high level of water protection is due to the Gore-Tex® Flex Construction membrane used in these shoes. Thanks to it, on rainy days your feet will always remain dry and protected from getting cold. The breathable (vapour-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from the inside of the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimum thermal comfort.
The Gore-Tex® Flex Construction membrane interacts with the waterproof, stretchable and scratch- and abrasion-resistant insulating material to prevent mud and snow from entering the boots. A waterproof YKK® side zip allows the boots to be put on quickly and easily. While the binding system BOA® Fit provides greater precision and speed in adjusting the fit of the shoe.
