The Arcteryx Alpha SV men's membrane jacket is the most advanced model in the Arcteryx brand's range. It will perform brilliantly during a mountain trek, climbing or skydiving expedition. It was created for professionals looking for protection in the harshest conditions over the long term.
Made in collaboration between Arc'teryx and Gore brands from the latest three-layer laminate GORE-TEX® PRO with Most Rugged technology - designed specifically for mountaineers, Himalayan climbers for activities in extremely harsh alpine conditions. The robust and abrasion-resistant N100d 3L Most Rugged face fabric protects against all kinds of abrasion and is easy to repair.
The GORE-TEX® Pro membrane also provides absolute protection against all kinds of rain, snow and wind. Thanks to its microporous structure, it efficiently wicks away moisture that forms on the surface of the skin during exercise. Additional protection against moisture is provided by a water repellent DWR layer, which slows down the wetting of the outer fabric.
The StormHood™ hood can be adjusted quickly and easily, and has been tailored to accommodate a climbing helmet. Additional face and neck protection is provided by the high built-in collar. The hood and bottom of the jacket are adjustable thanks to Cohaesive™ technology, which works perfectly with winter gloves.
The extremely roomy front pockets have been positioned so that they do not interfere with the climbing harness worn.
