The Salewa Ortles MED men's down jacket is a practical piece that you can wear on its own or as an insulating layer under a hardshell jacket. Lightweight, compact and warm - everything you need for your mountain activities.
Made from lightweight, durable nylon coated with DWR impregnation, so the outer material does not get wet when exposed to moisture or light precipitation. Hybrid filling according to the principles of body mapping allows the insulation to be efficiently distributed as required. The sleeves, shoulders and hood are insulated with a proprietary blend of wool and synthetic down from TirolWool®, which maintains its properties even in wet conditions. The body is filled with 90/10 duck down with a resilience of up to 750 cuin, making the entire insulation layer extremely light.
Jacket fastened with a two-way main zip. Zipped side pockets. Elastic sleeve cuffs. The whole thing packs into its own chest pocket for easy storage.
