The La Sportiva Trango Trk Leather GTX is a lightweight, high and sturdy boot ideal for traditional trekking with a heavy backpack on mixed terrain.

The waterproof upper is made of high-quality Idro-Perwanger® leather with microfibre reinforcements. The uniqueness of this leather, produced in Tyrolean tanneries, is based on a special tanning and finishing process that translates into full waterproofness with high breathability. Idro-Perwanger® is a material that is extremely resistant to any mechanical damage, as the raw material used is the strongest part of the leather, i.e. the dermis.

The innovative multi-directional 3D Flex System Evo™ hinge on the upper allows the ankle to take full advantage of its natural mobility without losing stability. This gives us better control of the foot in difficult terrain, a larger sole contact area, increased stability, a better fit and a more secure heel.

The Vibram footbed guarantees comfort, adaptation to the terrain and good cushioning. It consists of a rubber coating that offers superior protection and resistance to scratches and wear, as well as providing grip and traction. The low-density polyurethane content maximises comfort and also makes the sole perfectly adaptable to uneven terrain. Also used here is the innovative Impact Brake System technology, which absorbs unpleasant impacts on the ground and improves traction, especially when descending.

The top layer of the sole, once worn, is suitable for quick and easy tread replacement. This solution extends the life cycle of the shoes, reducing their impact on the environment.

The high level of protection against water is due to the Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort membrane used in these shoes. Thanks to it, on rainy days your feet will always remain dry and protected from getting cold. The breathable (vapour-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from the inside of the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it takes care of optimum thermal comfort.
