Merino wool - wool obtained from merino sheep living in New Zealand. It has excellent thermoregulatory properties, preventing overheating in summer and protecting against heat loss in winter. Its fibres wick away moisture and are light, soft and fluffy. Merino wool products do not "bite" the skin, are breathable and resistant to dirt.
