The transition from the Renntiger to the Racetiger is a true generational change. During the development phase of the new Racetiger SL R JR, the research and development team worked together with skiing legends Giorgio Rocca and Manfred Pranger, as well as their children: Francesco and Giacomo Rocca, Mario and Laura Pranger. Many up-and-coming racers from various skiing clubs were also involved in the project. The opinions of these talented young skiers, combined with the skills of their fathers, contributed significantly to the development of the new ski racing system for juniors. Although the ski construction is the same for all lengths, the thickness or proportions of the materials vary according to the length. The Torsionally Soft Tip technology makes the tip more direct, precise and reliable. The 60% increased tip elasticity gives young skiers easier turn initiation and less force from the start to the end of the turn. The current range also features an interface with a two-piece Race plate, which gives the flex line more roundness and harmony and ensures a more even distribution of grip. Thanks to the new drilling template, the front stop can be mounted with only 3 screws instead of 4. This results in a more direct edge response and more effective pressure transmission, giving the skis a more forgiving glide.
