The Arcteryx Gamma Lt softshell trousers have been created for people looking for protection from wind and rain during demanding summer mountain treks.
The softshell construction of the trousers will protect the wearer from the frequent gusts of wind encountered on mountain ranges. The second layer of protection used in the trousers is a hydrophobic DWR layer, made without environmentally harmful PFC compounds, which will slow down the soaking of the trousers.
The cut of the trousers has been adjusted to the female silhouette, which eliminates the risk of snagging when moving in rocky terrain. The trousers use Fortius DW 1.0 material, combining mechanically durable polyamide and elastane, which gives the trousers great elasticity. An added bonus is the sun protection of UPF 40+.
The adjustable, low-profile belt sits comfortably under the waist belt or harness. Two zipped pockets and a zipped thigh pocket, which is located just below the climbing harness, complete the look.
The lightweight nature of the product, the high level of wind protection and the comfortable, breathable and stretchy fabric encourage you to use these trousers for summer outdoor activities, but they are also perfect for travel or a weekend trip to the forest.
