The La Sportiva Aequilibrium Lt GTX is a high alpine boot for heavy-duty hiking. Ideal for backpacking and multi-day high-altitude expeditions.

The waterproof nubuck upper combined with a gusseted sewn-in tongue and snow protection in the form of a soft collar ensure maximum wearing comfort. Meanwhile, abrasion-resistant inserts on the sides increase the boots' durability, especially on sharp stone edges. The boots have an ergonomic, wraparound and precise shape, while special TPU shells integrated in the toe and heel reinforce the entire upper structure.

Innovative Double Heel ™ heel construction, or double back block, increases the braking effect during the descent and allows for smoother rolling. This design reduces leg muscle fatigue.

Innovative multi-directional 3D Flex System Evo™ hinge on the upper allows the ankle to take full advantage of its natural mobility without sacrificing stability. This gives us better control of the foot in difficult terrain, a larger sole contact area, increased stability, a better fit and a more secure heel.

The sole is both lightweight and durable. This effect is achieved by combining the outsole and midsole with an outer shell construction of Rubber Guard ™ and an inner foam material.

The Vibram SpringLug Tech footbed guarantees comfort, adaptation to the terrain and good cushioning. It consists of a rubber coating that offers superior protection and considerable resistance to scratches and wear, as well as providing grip and traction. The low-density polyurethane content maximises comfort and also makes the sole perfectly adaptable to uneven terrain. It also features the innovative Impact Brake System technology, which absorbs unpleasant impacts on the ground and improves traction, especially when descending.

The high level of water protection is due to the Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort membrane used in these shoes. Thanks to it, your feet will always remain dry and protected from the cold on rainy days. The breathable (vapour-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from the inside of the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimal thermal comfort.

The shoes are equipped with a special panel in the rear part of the sole that allows for easy attachment of semi-automatic crampons. They thus offer greater precision of movement in difficult winter terrain.
