With a waist width of 102 mm, the Mantra 102 obviously shines off-piste. But beyond its impressive off-piste characteristics, the Mantra 102 is simply a freeride ski with exceptional versatility that feels great on the slopes. With a new geometry with 3D Radius Sidecut and a reduced radius of curvature of 19m, this ski is classified as all-mountain and can be used on all types of terrain. Combined with the Tailored Titanal Frame, the Tailored Carbon Tip now integrated into this model offers even more possibilities to unleash your creativity. Tailored Titanal Frame in Mantra, Secret, Kendo and Kenja skis is the new version of the previous Titanal Frame. In this design, the width of the Titanal upper belt can be adapted to the length of the ski. The resulting torsional stiffness and damping properties can be adapted to the skier. Since the smaller skis have less Titanal, even the smallest and lightest of us will be able to get the most out of these skis with the least amount of effort. The new Tailored Carbon Tips make the Mantra extremely versatile. Carbon fibers used with the Tailored Fibre Placement (TFP) technique allow for optimal control of turning. The thickness and alignment of the fibers define the force you need to apply and the energy that builds up where it’s needed. Especially beneficial here is the high agility offered by the tip effect. This means that this ski allows you to turn with ease and control at the very beginning of a turn. You almost only need to imagine a change of direction and you're done! This construction allows lightweight ski without sacrificing stability.
A multi-layer wood core, full-length edge and P-Tex 2100 coating round out the high-end, rocker in the tip and heel.

Multilayer Woodcore

Multilayer woodcore found in half of the ski's cross-section, made from the finest poplar wood, reinforced with beech wood in the binding mounting area.

Tip&Tail Rocker

The rocker camber occurs only in the tip area and the back of the ski, with traditional camber under the binding. This allows the skis to perform better in powder snow and to transition better from edge to edge.

Tailored Carbon Tips

New carbon beaks that are perfectly tailored to the user's needs - that's right, Tailored Carbon Tips - are created during an innovative manufacturing process whereby individual carbon fibers are placed on a support material. The use of fibers of a specific thickness and their placement with millimeter precision allows you to perfectly adjust the stiffness, twist and thus the properties of the skis. The fibers ensure that dynamic forces are brought to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The Tailored Carbon Tips used in the ski, which are visible from the outside, are lightweight, allow smooth bow reactions with less effort, and quickly store energy. Thus, the tailored carbon prows set new standards for precision, direct response and the enjoyment of active downhill skiing.
